A tight landing to be sure. Many Sequoia/Kings Medics and EMTs are Helitack trained and can anticipate the requirements for helicopter use such as building a landing zone and realizing that a patient may have to fly alone because high altitude may restrict how much weight may be on board as was the case this time. The two rescuers remained overnight near this site until cooler temperatures and daylight permitted their return to station.
